Today I am grateful for winter. The yard is filled with fluffy white snow, making the brilliant red of the cardinal at our bird feeder even more spectacular

Challenge - the road before us

If life were easy, we would have little to be grateful for. Today I am grateful for a long time co worker, who still has passion in her soul, who trusts me, who is eager to go on this journey with me. After 10 years, that's something.

A good week

I am grateful for three days at my desk. That sounds so strange, but I am on the road so much that these days in my office are amazing. I love to be with my home team, and I am grateful for the chance to sort through some paperwork and get caught up on the more mundane but truly important paperwork (ok it's all electronic) that needs to be up to date. Monday? Back on the road.

some busy days and weeks lately, but I am grateful that most of the time I have slept well, or simply been able to embrace my sleeplessness. I am grateful for the time spent in the wee hours, my "me" time I guess, no work, no nothing. Just following my heart and entertaining myself. It always results in me getting sleepy again.

strangely guilty

I have already fallen down and missed a day. I did think about my gratitude list, but didn't write first thing in the morning as I have been. Last night as I lay in bed, I felt bad that I had let myself down.

and so, first thing, back to the list!

Today I am grateful for the sunshine in the backyard. It rained all day yesterday which throws into sharp perspective the lovely blue sky this morning.

Yesterday I was grateful that my love and I love to do the same things, we drove, we talked, we ate, we shopped and we enjoyed being together.

Day Two - So many things

After starting the gratitude list yesterday, I noticed so many things through the day that I wanted to add to today's list. However, I think I will stick to one a day.

Today I am grateful that someone many years ago planted some scilla bulbs in the back yard, because now it is filled with tiny blue flowers.
